Marcus Majors

A young creative entrepreneur, Marcus Majors has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his vast array of skills and talents. A man of ambition, Majors has always dreamed of living a life full of purpose. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, he always had a passion for music and the arts. He moved to Miami, Florida in 2008 to attend Johnson & Wales University, where he played collegiate soccer. Majors received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in International Business.

The 25-year-old entrepreneur found no better way to interpret music than through dance. He looked up to dancing greats like Michael Jackson, Usher and fellow Virginia native Chris Brown. With no prior formal training, Majors began his professional dancing career in 2012. He soon became a client relations host at BNW Entertainment Group, hosting workshops encouraging growth in South Florida’s dance community. Juggling an accounting internship, day job and his new dance career was not easy. Bored by the systematic routine of a 9 to 5, Majors quit his day job in April 2014 to fully pursue his entertainment dreams.

With big dreams and even greater ambition, Majors brought his dreams to full fruition by working with some of today’s hottest entertainers. The multi-talented triple threat has danced for pop stars such as Fifth Harmony, Marc Anthony and Reggaeton star Farruko. A published model, he has also appeared in music videos for today’s hip hop heavyweights such as Nicki Minaj, Sean Paul, and Trey Songz; just to name a few. Majors has been featured in TV commercials for AT&T, Corona light and Dunkin Donuts . The budding actor is set to hit the big screen later this year with dance appearances in films, “The Boss” starring Melissa McCarthy, “Ghostbusters” and “Break the Stage.”

Dedicated to service and philanthropy, Majors plans on starting his own non-profit organization, “Empowering Expressions”, later this year to help combat bullying and raise youth’s self esteem. The organization will give school supplies decorated with words and symbols of encouragement to underserved youth worldwide. Marcus Majors shows no signs of stopping as he continually seeks to inspire change, growth and individuality in a world where society tells you otherwise. An aspiring motivational speaker and life coach, Majors challenges youth to go against the grain and full heartedly pursue their dreams with hard work and discipline.
